Chef Glenn Law is the Executive Chef and owner of Sweet Auburn Bistro located at 171 Auburn Avenue in downtown, Atlanta, GA. Chef Glenn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his first venture as the entrepreneur of his own restaurant. The creator of “New South” cuisine Chef Law has developed a special brand of recipes for the person with a discerning taste palate. “New South” cuisine is American food with Southern and Caribbean flair. Not soul food or southern cooking but, touches and influences of them to create a new dining experience. You’ll find a healthier approach and surprising twists to many of your favorite dishes and a surprising tasteful introduction to new ones.
Chef Glenn has over 30 years of culinary experience from an eclectic mix of restaurants and a variety of individual clientele. He has taken his expertise to some of the finest eating establishments in the city of Atlanta including Chops, Justins, Buckhead Diner, and Marlow’s Tavern. Always in demand Chef has also worked with many celebrity clients including Joe Montana, Joe Frazier, Shirley Franklin, Maya Angelou, Attorney General Thurbert Baker, Sean P. Combs and the German Consulate from the 1996 Olympic Games here in Atlanta. His culinary mentor is Frederic Schultz, a gold medal winning chef at the Culinary Institute and a head chef with the Hampton Group. Chef Glenn has also worked with Kevin Rathbun of Rathbun’s Steakhouse and Rathbun’s in Reynoldstown.
An innovative craftsman, Chef Glenn continues to participate in many food seminars and classes. Law has been the featured cook at numerous private events, shows and programs including “Real Men Cook” and the 100 Black Women of Atlanta’s “Gourmet Gents.” Chef Glenn’s mission is to provide flavorful food, at affordable prices with exceptional service! It is all set to give you the ultimate dining experience that is exclusively Sweet Auburn Bistro.
